Senior Solutions Engineer (Portfolio Management/Buy-side Investment Mgt APAC)

Location: Singapore; hybrid work arrangement with office attendance two days per week and remote work on other days.

What you will do

• Own the functional sales workstream end-to-end for enterprise and strategic opportunities across APAC.
• Partner with sales to shape deals around front-to-back investment management, public and private assets, open ecosystems, managed services, and AI.
• Prepare product and functional RfPs, RfIs, presentations, demonstrations, proof-of-concept plans, and reusable sales assets.
• Translate technical answers into commercial and industry context while documenting risks, gaps, proposals, and handoffs.
• Coordinate product, consulting, services, operations, accounting, and technical subject-matter experts.
• Build executive-level customer relationships, mentor junior team members, and reinforce team standards.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of relevant FinTech experience in implementations, transformations, presales, or technically oriented relationship management.
• Deep buy-side investment management expertise, including portfolio management, risk management, financial markets, and investment processes.
• Track record of shaping and winning enterprise deals in financial software.
• Technical fluency across multi-asset platforms, securities, derivatives, loans, public and private assets, APIs, and data workflows.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
• Business-level proficiency in spoken and written Mandarin is required to liaise with clients in North Asia.

Nice to have

• Experience working across APAC, particularly Southeast Asia and Australia.
• Additional proficiency in Cantonese, Korean, or Japanese.
• Experience with direct configuration for sales demonstrations and building reusable demo and presentation libraries.
