Control and Automation Engineer

What you will do

• Design automatic machines that meet customer and company specifications.
• Review order verifications, customer schematics, and technical information to confirm design requirements.
• Develop and verify system interface drawings, operating logic, bills of materials, and related application documentation.
• Work with customers during design, system start-up, and equipment modifications.
• Support production, quality, product development, materials, and service teams in resolving technical issues and improving products.
• Train engineers, technicians, and other employees on company products and applications.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology, or equivalent education and experience.
• At least 2 years of related experience.
• Proficiency with Windows, AutoCAD, Eplan, SolidWorks, and proprietary software.
• Experience with PLC, HMI, and robot programming, including platforms from Allen-Bradley, Mitsubishi, Omron, ABB, or Kuka.
• Knowledge of industrial and electronic machinery, including packaging, taping, assembly, dispensing, mechanical, and pneumatic controls.
• Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
