Control and Automation Engineer

What you will do

• Design automatic machines and related application drawings, bills of materials, and technical documentation.
• Review customer schematics and order information to verify design requirements and equipment feasibility.
• Develop and verify system interface drawings, operating logic, and interfaces between company products and customer equipment.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality, Service, Materials, and Product Development teams to resolve manufacturing, inspection, and start-up issues.
• Support customers and service technicians during system start-up and make modifications to meet customer requirements.
• Train engineers, technicians, and other employees on company products and their applications.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology.
• At least 2 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proficiency with Windows, AutoCAD, Eplan, SolidWorks, and proprietary software.
• Proficiency in PLC, HMI, and robot programming, including platforms such as AB, Mitsubishi, Omron, ABB, and Kuka.
• Familiarity with industrial and electronic machinery, including packaging, taping, assembly, dispensing, mechanical, and pneumatic controls.
• Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.

• Fluent spoken English.
