Process Engineer (Electric, Robotics)

Location: Onsite in Shanghai, China

hirify.global’s Robotics business develops industrial robotics solutions and is entering a new chapter with SoftBank Group’s planned acquisition of hirify.global Robotics.

What you will do

• Optimize assembly methods, production processes, equipment performance, cycle times, and material usage.
• Troubleshoot electrical equipment and modify or upgrade control cabinet fixtures for R&D testing.
• Update and debug Siemens PLC programs and maintain automation equipment.
• Resolve production-line issues and bottlenecks while managing tools, jigs, fixtures, inspections, and preventive maintenance.
• Update work instructions for ECO, DTO, and NPI changes, train operators, and support safety and ergonomic improvements.
• Participate in cost-reduction, quality-improvement, standard-time, and factory digitalization projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Automation, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering; an electrical background is strongly preferred.
• Proficiency in Siemens and other PLC programming.
• Fluent spoken and written English.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Interest in engineering with a curious and inquisitive mindset.
• Experience supporting mechanical or electrical production is preferred.

• Knowledge of programming languages and SQL.
