Electronics Engineer (Robotics)

Location: On-site in the Toronto GTA or Shenzhen

Compensation: CA$146K–CA$190K total wage range, including base salary and on-target incentives where applicable.

hirify.global builds data infrastructure for robotics and embodied AI, including data capture, labeling, and hardware-enabled workflows for training and validating humanoid and embodied AI systems.

What you will do

• Design circuits and schematics and develop or review PCB layouts for capture and sensing hardware.
• Bring up new boards and diagnose power, signal, timing, and communication issues on the bench.
• Work with firmware and mechanical engineers to validate complete systems under realistic recording workloads.
• Collaborate with suppliers to improve designs based on prototypes, production tests, component qualification, and field failures.
• Document designs, measurements, and design changes for continued development and production.

Requirements

• 3–4 years of experience designing and bringing up electronics hardware.
• Depth in digital hardware or sensor electronics, including areas such as SoC boards, memory, high-speed interfaces, signal and power integrity, low-noise acquisition, microcontrollers, or compact circuits.
• Experience designing schematics and PCBs with tools such as Altium or KiCad and bringing up the resulting hardware.
• Strong foundations in analog and digital electronics, power supplies, grounding, decoupling, and sensor interfaces.
• Practical debugging experience with oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, power supplies, and electronic loads.
• Hands-on prototyping and rework skills, with the ability to reason about signal quality, timing, power consumption, and electronics–firmware interaction.

Nice to have

• Experience with flexible circuits, EMC, wireless systems, battery-powered devices, or production testing.
