Cab & LFB Design Engineer (Machine Design): Developing WBT cab and LFB system architectures and models for Caterpillar machines with an accent on concept design, system validation, and manufacturing support. Focus on resolving system issues, conducting field tests, and applying electrical, electronic, control, and automation engineering expertise throughout product development.
Location: Qingdao, Shandong, China; onsite five days a week

What you will do
- Develop WBT cab and LFB system architectures and models based on customer requirements and machine functions.
- Participate in concept design, design reviews, system validation, machine validation, and field testing during product development.
- Provide technical support to machine facilities.
- Assist manufacturing teams in resolving system issues during production and testing.
Requirements
- Degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
- Knowledge of machine electrical and electronic architectures, control systems, automation technologies, and engineering applications.
- Knowledge of product design and development from concept through production.
- Strong analytical thinking, communication, and prioritization skills.
- Fluent written and spoken English and Chinese.
- Ability to work onsite five days a week in Qingdao, Shandong.
