IE Engineer - Factory Planning & Logistic (Robotics)

What you will do

• Lead factory layout planning, including shop-floor zoning, workstation placement, aisle design, and utility routing.
• Design and improve internal material flow, supermarket sizing, milk-run routes, conveyance methods, and inbound/outbound logistics.
• Lead value-stream mapping and kaizen activities to reduce waste and improve productivity and quality.
• Support new product introductions by designing manufacturing processes from layout and logistics perspectives.
• Develop factory simulation models for scenario planning, investment decisions, and capacity ramp-up.
• Track factory KPIs and support 6S, safety, ergonomic workstation, real-time location, and warehouse management initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field; an advanced degree is preferred.
• At least 3 years of experience in factory layout design, material flow optimization, and capacity planning in manufacturing.
• Experience with AutoCAD, Plant Simulation, FlexSim, or Arena.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing tools, including VSM, standardized work, kanban, pull systems, and TPM.
• Familiarity with AGVs, conveyors, lift tables, warehouse design, and data analysis using Excel, Power BI, or SQL.
• Fluent spoken and written English, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
