Senior Identity Security Engineer (Cybersecurity)

What you will do

• Own the identity security posture across corporate, production, customer, and US Government identity planes.
• Drive agent identity infrastructure using short-lived credentials, human-principal lifecycle binding, and controlled workload onboarding.
• Architect authentication, federation, and authorization systems using SAML, OIDC, RBAC, ABAC, and policy-as-code.
• Scale non-human identity patterns across services, workloads, and agents, including mTLS and identity-based networking.
• Lead just-in-time access adoption, identity threat modeling, remediation tracking, and security reviews for identity architecture decisions.
• Research emerging identity security standards and reduce the attack surface of identity integrations with engineering teams.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in information security, IAM, or an equivalent discipline, with depth in identity security.
• Production experience with an enterprise identity provider such as Entra ID, Okta, or an equivalent platform.
• Deep proficiency in SAML, OIDC, OAuth 2.0, SCIM, FIDO2, and WebAuthn, including their attack surfaces.
• Working proficiency in Go, Python, PowerShell, or TypeScript for tooling, automation, security analysis, and code review.
• Strong communication skills across technical design reviews and leadership-level risk discussions.
• Current US security clearance or eligibility to obtain clearance is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with cloud IAM, workload identity, non-human identity, privileged access management, and secrets management.
• Experience reducing standing access and implementing just-in-time access in production.
• Identity threat detection and response, red teaming, offensive security, or incident response experience.
• Exposure to FedRAMP, SOX, or IL-level regulated environments.
• Contributions to the identity security community through talks, publications, tools, or RFCs.
