PRN LPN (Healthcare)

Location: Roanoke, City of, United States; onsite clinic role

Pay range: $21.00–$26.00 per hour

What you will do

• Escort patients, prepare examination rooms, and maintain clinical supplies and equipment.
• Review medical histories, collect updated health information, take vital signs, perform blood draws, give injections, and bandage wounds.
• Prepare and administer approved medications and immunizations under provider direction and written orders.
• Coordinate patient scheduling, check-in and check-out, medical-record requests, referrals, specialist visits, and external care.
• Document patient information accurately, process test results, and communicate results as instructed.
• Support care plans and patient-outreach activities to improve engagement and address gaps in care.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of Medical Assistant experience, preferably in primary care.
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant or related program.
• National or state-specific MA certification or registration; certification or registration is required where mandated by state law.
• CPR/BLS certification required by the start date.

Nice to have

• Phlebotomy experience.
