Program Manager - GSS Government Aviation (Satellite Communications)

Location: Remote within the United States, including New Hampshire and Reston, Virginia. Travel up to 25% CONUS and OCONUS.

Salary: $141,500–$224,000 annually. For specific locations in San Jose, the San Francisco Bay Area, and the New York City metropolitan area: $176,000–$264,000 annually.

What you will do

• Lead government aviation programs from conception through completion and align execution with strategic objectives.
• Manage customer contracts and serve as the primary contact for programmatic communications.
• Work with Business Development and customers to define system requirements.
• Coordinate Engineering and Operations teams to develop and deliver practical solutions.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration across Business Development, Engineering, Contracts, Finance, and Operations.
• Support program growth while delivering high-quality satellite communications equipment and services.

Requirements

• 8+ years of multifaceted Program Management experience supporting government organizations.
• Experience with programmatic gate processes and driving contractual requirements to on-time delivery.
• Aerospace engineering knowledge with aircraft certification experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical subject area or equivalent experience.
• Active DoD Secret Clearance and US Citizenship required.
• Strong customer-facing communication, presentation, accountability, and interdisciplinary leadership skills.

Nice to have

• 5+ years of experience with satellite communications systems.
• Active DoD TS Secret Clearance or ability to obtain it.
• Experience delivering aviation communications systems, including platform integration.
• Experience with government funding and the program management or acquisition lifecycle.
