Quality System Leader (Advanced Electronics)

Location: Circleville, Ohio, United States, with travel to Films manufacturing sites, including Bayport, Texas, and suppliers as needed; approximately 10% travel.

What you will do

• Manage and improve the Kapton® Films Quality Management System certified under ISO 9001:2015.
• Lead quality system activities for new business growth and development projects, identifying current and future system gaps.
• Provide documented program updates, risk assessments, and resolution proposals for quality system and supplier quality issues.
• Support Films operations teams with QMS conformance, standardization, automation, and operational excellence initiatives.
• Develop supplier management tools and integrate them into product and process development and raw material management.
• Collaborate with manufacturing site leaders, suppliers, auditors, contract manufacturers, and technical teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field.
• Extensive ISO 9001:2015 QMS knowledge and experience, including lead auditor training and certification.
• Quality engineering experience with FMEA, Control Plans, MSA, and PPAP.
• Strong data analysis skills and experience with statistical tools such as JMP, LIMS, and MES.
• At least 7 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work at the Circleville, Ohio site and travel approximately 10% to manufacturing sites and suppliers.

Nice to have

• Experience in electronics, semiconductors, or semiconductor materials.
• Six Sigma Green Belt or higher.
• IATF 16949 knowledge, including lead auditor training and certification.
• Experience resolving technical challenges in time-critical situations.
