Location: Fremont, California, United States; 100% onsite and in-office, with no remote work

What you will do

  • Support quality and ISO 9001 systems across manufacturing, engineering, suppliers, and other internal and external stakeholders.
  • Analyze process and quality metrics, monitor product performance, and prepare statistical reports and technical reports for management.
  • Optimize manufacturability, assembly, testability, cost, and quality of components and final products.
  • Implement PFMEA, tooling, manufacturing processes, corrective actions, standard work, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Develop and implement manufacturing and assembly quality procedures, predictive quality systems, and best practices using Six Sigma, SPC, GR&R, 5Y, and CAR methods.
  • Perform internal audits, failure analysis, non-conformance resolution, and problem-solving activities with production teams and suppliers.

Requirements

  • Degree or diploma in engineering or a related discipline.
  • 2–3 or more years of related quality assurance experience in a manufacturing organization with design and production functions.
  • Working knowledge of switchgear systems, power distribution, protection schemes, and standards including UL 891, UL 1558, and IEEE C37.
  • Six Sigma Green Belt minimum; Black Belt preferred.
  • Experience with electrical connectors, harnesses, equipment, manufacturing processes, testing equipment, and fixtures.
  • Knowledge of SolidWorks, IPC-620, UL/CSA requirements, ISO 9001 QMS systems, and Microsoft Office applications.
