Quality Engineer (Manufacturing)

Location: Onsite in Westville, Oklahoma, United States. Candidates must already have US work authorization permitting employment with hirify.global.

hirify.global’s NEMA Motors Division manufactures electric NEMA motors across seven global manufacturing locations, producing more than 1.6 million motors annually.

What you will do

• Lead quality strategy and continuous improvement across manufacturing operations using Lean Six Sigma methods.
• Own and enhance the Quality Management System, including ISO compliance, audit readiness, APQP, PPAP, documentation, and standardized controls.
• Lead root-cause analysis and corrective-action processes to reduce defects, scrap, rework, warranty issues, and process variation.
• Improve quality and test reliability across winding, assembly, machining, and finishing operations.
• Partner with Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain, suppliers, and the workforce to improve product capability and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and 2+ years of experience in quality, manufacturing, or operational excellence within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of 8D, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plans, SPC, Lean Manufacturing, and Six Sigma.
• Experience with statistical analysis and data trending, including tools such as Minitab.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and test procedures.
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001 or equivalent Quality Management Systems.
• Existing US work authorization required; the role is onsite in Westville, Oklahoma.

Nice to have

• ASQ Certified Quality Engineer or Six Sigma certification.
• Experience with winding, assembly, and machining processes.
• ISO auditor, QMS ownership, project management, or PMP experience.
