Quality Specialist (New Product Focus) (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Lead quality activities for new product introduction projects using FMEA, control plans, APQP, and related tools.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions using A3, 8D, 5Why, DMAIC, and fishbone methods.
• Evaluate products and processes, establish internal controls, and support quality throughout the product lifecycle.
• Collaborate with engineering and other local functions on product data, evaluations, and quality targets.
• Train operators and engineers in quality testing and inspection routines.
• Participate in or lead internal product and process audits and provide backup laboratory analysis for epoxy, urethane, and resin materials.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field is preferred.
• One year of quality experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Knowledge of root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions, FMEA, control plans, APQP, Lean, and Six Sigma.
• Proficiency with Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; familiarity with SAP, Windchill, Gensuite, Relex Minitab, or Power BI is preferred.
• Strong organization skills and the ability to manage multiple competing priorities.
• Must already have US work authorization permitting employment with hirify.global in the United States.

Nice to have

• Lean, Six Sigma, CQE, or CQA certification.
• Knowledge of SAP, Windchill, or document control systems.
