Environmental Specialist (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Support air, water, hazardous waste, POTW permit, SPCC, and Groundwater Protection Program compliance.
• Lead ISO 14001 environmental management system activities and maintain environmental records.
• Prepare TRI and Tier II reporting data, coordinate sampling, and support regulatory reporting.
• Participate in inspections, housekeeping audits, Gemba walks, and environmental or LOPC investigations.
• Maintain the SDS system, review new chemicals, and support compliance for specialized equipment such as X-ray devices.
• Support sustainability reporting, environmental performance improvements, and waste reduction initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience, including internships or co-ops.
• Basic understanding of air, water, and waste environmental regulations.
• Superior technical writing and the ability to present complex information clearly to employees, management, and regulators.
• Ability to build effective working relationships with contractors, coworkers, and other professionals.
• Familiarity with environmental data tracking or reporting systems.
