Senior CMP Field Service / Technical Lead (Semiconductor)

Location: Pudong, Shanghai, China; onsite customer support required

What you will do

• Resolve complex CMP performance challenges and lead root-cause investigations with R&D, quality, and manufacturing teams.
• Drive CMP pad product adoption through technical positioning, customer discussions, demonstrations, and qualification support.
• Provide technical insights on CMP industry trends, pad products, and application practices.
• Engage process owners and integration leads to strengthen customer partnerships and expand account presence.
• Lead urgent onsite escalation support and recovery efforts under critical conditions.
• Drive quality, yield, customer implementation, and scaling initiatives from trial stages through high-volume manufacturing.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Materials Science, or Chemistry.
• At least 5 years of hands-on CMP technical experience in the semiconductor industry.
• Strong expertise in CMP processes, pad/slurry interaction, and integration challenges.
• Experience in customer-facing technical roles such as FAE, application, or process engineering.
• Fluent Mandarin and English required.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, with strong execution and project-prioritization skills.
