Application Engineer II (PDC)

Location: Shanghai, China; travel required for 50% of the time

What you will do

• Identify complex problems and customer needs at customer sites and drive solutions through implementation.
• Lead recipe creation to optimize system performance and provide informal guidance to PSEs and application engineers.
• Qualify new technologies and features through beta-site activities, customer evaluations, and demonstrations.
• Develop application methodologies for specific customer requirements and system performance goals.
• Analyze and transfer new application capabilities from product divisions to customer application support teams.
• Participate in customer technical review meetings and follow up on solution execution.

Requirements

• Expanded conceptual knowledge in the relevant discipline and the ability to broaden technical capabilities.
• Ability to solve straightforward technical problems using experience, judgment, and established precedents.
• Ability to explain complex technical information clearly.
• Willingness to travel approximately 50% of the time.
• Based in Shanghai, China.
