Senior Quality Manager (Aerospace)

Location: Nexus, Cortex, Briggs. On-site coverage across a multi-site production campus, with occasional travel to remote launch facilities; travel expectation is under 10%.

What you will do

• Lead quality operations across CNC machining, advanced composites, electronics manufacturing, and spacecraft cleanroom facilities.
• Manage hardware shipping and environmental verification protocols for transfers from manufacturing facilities to launch sites.
• Implement statistical process controls, process adherence oversight, and yield improvement initiatives.
• Establish and maintain the material review board process, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and CAPA lifecycles.
• Develop AS9102 First Article Inspection workflows for structural and electronic components.
• Build a proactive zero-defect culture while training, mentoring, and growing production quality teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in aerospace, mechanical, electrical, materials engineering, business, quality, or a related technical discipline.
• 15+ years of quality and leadership experience in aerospace manufacturing and support.
• At least 7+ years leading quality and inspection teams.
• Experience leading and improving quality management systems, with strong knowledge of AS9100 standards, regulatory requirements, and quality methodologies.
• Demonstrated success implementing Lean principles.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in engineering, business, quality, or a related technical discipline.
• Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
• Experience supporting customer and regulatory audits.
