Aerospace Internal Audit Specialist (Quality Management Systems)

What you will do

• Support the implementation and evolution of the internal audit program within a cross-functional quality team.
• Document audit reports and provide regular progress report-outs.
• Engage stakeholders in corrective and preventive action processes.
• Track audit plans, progress, and risk management activities.
• Assist with training internal auditors as required.

Requirements

• 3+ years of quality-related experience in a high-tech or complex aerospace manufacturing facility.
• Knowledge of AS9100 Quality Management Systems and auditing practices.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related STEM field.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical subjects in basic terminology.
• Ability to influence without authority, solve complex problems creatively, and collaborate across the organization.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office, G-Suite, Polarion, and PLEX.

Nice to have

• AS9100 Lead Auditor Certification.
• ASQ Certified Quality Engineer certification.
• Familiarity with FAA regulations, particularly FAR Part 21.
