What you will do

• Design, test, check out, fabricate, modify, troubleshoot, and assemble electronic and electro-mechanical systems, prototypes, test equipment, tools, and fixtures.
• Test and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems and subsystems at both component and system levels.
• Perform new system and NPI installations, field upgrades, rework, and corrective actions.
• Conduct mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, vacuum, and process testing on hirify.global platforms.
• Maintain logbooks, test procedures, department documentation, and Quality Notifications.
• Follow safety procedures and use required protective equipment in manufacturing and cleanroom environments.

Requirements

• Proficiency in analytical processes and procedures for assigned technical tasks.
• Ability to read schematics, diagrams, layouts, plans, and written or verbal instructions.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems and use hand and power tools.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb ladders, work in tight spaces, distinguish colors, and lift as required.
• Ability to work around noise and operate heavy machinery, including forklifts.
• Onsite work in Austin, Texas; travel up to 10% of the time. Relocation is not eligible.
