Technical Accounting Manager

Location: Denver, Colorado; hybrid workplace

Salary: $85,000–$160,000 per year, plus potential restricted stock units, sign-on bonus, and other incentives.

What you will do

• Review and assess technical accounting matters involving equity, revenue, debt, variable interest entities, investments, and other non-standard transactions.
• Evaluate and implement new accounting standards.
• Own end-to-end stock-based compensation accounting under ASC 718, including journal entries, accounting documentation, and financial statement disclosures.
• Support quarterly and annual financial statement preparation and review, including drafting disclosures.
• Lead ad hoc analyses, projects, and management initiatives across multiple functional groups.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting and a CPA license.
• 3–5 years of accounting or auditing experience, including at least 2 years in technical accounting.
• Experience in technical accounting and financial reporting.
• Deep, current knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting principles and regulations.
• Strong communication, analytical problem-solving, project management, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, manage complex cross-functional projects, and exercise sound judgment under pressure.
