About the Role
You create Web3 applications and architectural solutions connecting Web3 with fintech, ensure software architecture integrity, improve existing software performance, define functional and non-functional requirements, communicate technical concepts, guide and coach development teams, maintain documentation, and evaluate solutions for improvement.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in software engineering
- Extensive understanding of architectural styles and design patterns
- Experience with NodeJS, C#, React, MongoDB, MySQL, AWS, and Kafka
- Familiarity with Web3, Ethers, Hardhat, OpenZeppelin tooling, and smart contract debugging
- Understanding of blockchains, smart contracts, dApps, wallets, and standards
- Understanding of the software development lifecycle
- Experience with crypto-economic protocol design is desirable
- Experience building systems for financial markets is desirable
Responsibilities
- Create Web3 applications
- Collaborate with development and product teams
- Develop architectural solutions for Web3 and fintech
- Become a subject matter expert in payments and Web3
- Ensure the architectural integrity of software solutions
- Modify existing software to improve performance
- Help determine functional and non-functional requirements
- Communicate concepts and guidelines to development teams
- Provide technical guidance and coaching
- Maintain technical documentation
- Evaluate software solutions for improvement
