Architect (Fintech)

Location: New York City, United States; hybrid

Salary: $140,000–$180,000 per year, plus equity

hirify.global develops cloud-native core banking and payments technology through its Vault platform, helping banks replace legacy systems.

What you will do

• Present Vault architecture and best practices to senior client stakeholders in pre-sales and delivery engagements.
• Define target architectures and transition states for Vault implementations and migrations with banking clients.
• Design end-to-end solutions for core banking replacement programmes.
• Create and use AI agents to accelerate architectural deliverables and help clients adopt the same assets.
• Provide expert guidance on the Vault platform, its roadmap, functionality, and architectural constraints.
• Deliver client training, maintain architectural collateral, and provide product feedback to influence the roadmap.

Requirements

• Experience designing enterprise architectures for large financial services institutions.
• Banking domain knowledge, ideally in core banking or payments, including transformation drivers and regulatory context.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and client-facing consulting skills.
• Practical knowledge of event-based architecture, CQRS, and process orchestration.
• Expertise in cloud technologies, high availability, disaster recovery, and multi-availability-zone or multi-region systems.
• Ability to communicate and defend technical positions to enterprise architects, engineers, and business stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience creating AI agents to improve delivery efficiency.
• Experience with large-scale migration programmes, especially core banking migrations.
• Spanish language skills.
