Senior Solution Architect (Fintech)

Location: Based in Lehi, Utah, United States, with regular collaboration in the Utah office

What you will do

• Partner with customers, sales, product, engineering, and operations to translate business goals and technical requirements into scalable solutions.
• Design end-to-end architectures spanning infrastructure, applications, data, security, APIs, and integrations.
• Lead technical discovery, feasibility assessments, risk analysis, and architecture trade-off recommendations.
• Advise customers and internal teams on architecture patterns, best practices, and emerging technologies.
• Support pre-sales through technical discussions, solution presentations, and customer-facing solutioning.
• Create architecture diagrams, design documentation, and implementation plans while improving scalability and customer experience.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in solutions architecture, technical consulting, or a related customer-facing technical role.
• 5+ years designing cloud-based architectures with AWS, Azure, or GCP and modern distributed systems.
• 4+ years partnering directly with customers or stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• 4+ years contributing to or leading end-to-end solution design, including APIs, data flows, and system integrations.
• Strong understanding of microservices, event-driven systems, serverless architecture, and containers.
• Experience with API design, data modeling, integration strategies, cloud security, and compliance considerations.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience with fintech, SaaS, or data-driven platforms.
• Relevant AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud architecture certifications.
