Senior Specialist Supply Chain / Senior Supply Chain Planner (Supply Chain Planning)

Location: Neckarbischofsheim, Germany; onsite role with no travel.

What you will do

• Manage production and material planning for multiple product lines and review MRP outputs to align supply with demand.
• Participate in the SIOP process, maintain customer demand profiles in Smoothie and Microsoft AX, and support sales forecasting with Business Unit marketing, sales, and customers.
• Coordinate with manufacturing, engineering, purchasing, inventory management, and internal and external manufacturing partners to meet customer delivery requirements and inventory targets.
• Create or support production orders and sales-order scheduling, monitor delivery performance, and provide executive reporting on demand, on-time delivery, and inventory.
• Support customer meetings, critical supply situations, new product ramps, capacity and resource planning, and coordination with new product teams.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of supply chain planning processes and support or lead planning activities and junior staff development.

Requirements

• At least six years of experience in supply chain and inventory management in a medium-sized or large manufacturing or logistics environment, ideally involving multi-level BOM structures.
• Diploma or degree-level qualification plus relevant training in master planning or MRP, APICS certification, or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of import and export requirements.
• Experience using MRP within a multi-level BOM structure, preferably in a manufacturing organization.
• Strong analytical skills and previous experience interfacing with and reporting to senior management.
• Computer literacy, especially Microsoft Excel.
• Self-starting approach with a track record of delivering results.
• Knowledge of Axapta, Microsoft Dynamics, or comparable ERP software such as SAP or Oracle.
• Knowledge of Lean Supply Chain principles, ideally supported by demonstrable results in Lean programs.
• Goal-oriented approach, ability to analyse situations and assimilate data quickly, strong communication skills across all business levels, and adaptability and creativity when addressing new situations and problems.
• Proficiency in both German and English.
