NPI Innovation Sourcing Partner

What you will do

• Partner with business-group R&D, engineering, operations, controlling, and quality teams to enable new product development.
• Own end-to-end sourcing for materials and outsourced technical services during product development, including agreed objectives and key results.
• Scout innovative suppliers, lead technical partner dialogues, build strategic supplier relationships, and manage supplier performance.
• Align global category sourcing strategies with business-group R&D requirements and define, execute, and adapt global NPI strategies.
• Lead commercial negotiations, apply pricing models, close long-term supply contracts, and secure supply.
• Ensure timely sample batches and supplier readiness, attend industry conferences, visit and audit suppliers, and provide market intelligence on supply trends, costs, and technology developments.

Requirements

• University degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, or another technical domain.
• At least 7 years of sourcing experience in an international manufacturing industry.
• Proven negotiation and analytical skills, with a good understanding of current ESG requirements.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills in an international environment.
• Excellent spoken and written English communication skills across stakeholder groups and international sites.
• Ability to think outside the box, challenge the status quo, work independently, and maintain a solution-oriented and proactive mindset.
• Ability to identify and monitor emerging technical trends and developments.
• Willingness to travel internationally.
