Specialist, Operations Management (Capital Markets)

What you will do

• Support NY Repo and Collateral Management operations, including collateral coverage, exposure management, securities borrowing and pledging, margin calls, settlements, and corporate actions.
• Build subject-matter expertise in complex products, trade events, accounting activities, and related operational workflows.
• Coordinate daily with counterparties and lenders to manage collateral and resolve operational matters.
• Research and analyze discrepancies between internal records, custodians, and counterparties.
• Engage professionally with clients, traders, regulators, senior leaders, and support teams.
• Identify and implement process improvements that increase operational efficiency and coordination with internal and external partners.

Requirements

• Previous experience in Capital Markets or Wealth Management Operations.
• Understanding of Securities Lending, Repo Trading, Prime Brokerage, OTC Derivatives, and Collateral Management.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, prioritization, and ability to work under pressure with tight settlement deadlines.
• Advanced knowledge of Excel and the ability to analyze and process data efficiently.
• Experience with CDS, Arrow, APEX, FEDWIRE, DTC/FICC, and Broadridge/ADP.
• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada and hold a valid work or study permit where applicable.
