Trust Administrator

Location: Toronto-81 Bay, 11th Floor, Canada. The proportion of on-site and remote work will be discussed during the interview.

What you will do

• Support a Trust Officer with the administration of a trust portfolio.
• Open new accounts, prepare initial correspondence, maintain account information, and process remittances.
• Assist with asset and liability statements, client accounting, fee collection, and daily transaction processing.
• Manage asset collection, consolidation, reconciliation, valuation updates, cost bases, and in-kind transfers.
• Build professional relationships with clients, beneficiaries, lawyers, accountants, and financial planners.
• Conduct preliminary research, participate in meetings and committees, prepare annual review packages, update CLIPs, and maintain AML documentation.

Requirements

• Strong client service, analytical thinking, critical thinking, and attention to detail.
• Interest in or willingness to enroll in STEP CETA1: Foundations & Trust Administration, CSI and/or STEP Estate & Trust courses, and CIRO-ID.
• Knowledge of investment portfolios, transaction banking, cash flow analysis, and client accounting.
• Legally eligible to work in Canada at the specified location, with a valid work or study permit where applicable.
• Ability to collaborate with clients and professionals across multiple departments and disciplines.
