Lead Engineer, Fab Technologies (Semiconductor)

Location: Hsinchu City, Taiwan; based in Hsinchu or nearby areas with up to 30% domestic and international travel.

What you will do

• Serve as the technical expert for Selective Wet Etch and Clean solutions.
• Provide application support and lead customer evaluations, qualifications, technical discussions, product launches, and commercialization efforts.
• Identify, develop, and convert customer opportunities while supporting business growth and revenue goals in Taiwan.
• Build relationships with customers, account teams, and key OEM partners to develop new opportunities.
• Collaborate with Business Units, R&D, Supply Chain, and Quality teams on product roadmaps, operations, and customer requirements.
• Deliver technical training, market insights, business reviews, and customer roadmap discussions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related engineering discipline.
• 8–10+ years of experience in Wet Etch and Clean processes within semiconductor manufacturing, equipment, or materials suppliers.
• Strong expertise in process development for advanced semiconductor technologies, including Logic, Memory, or 3D architectures.
• Strong analytical problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Fluent English required for technical discussions and customer presentations; TOEIC 600+ preferred.
• Based in Hsinchu or nearby areas, with flexibility to travel as required.

• Experience with semiconductor equipment suppliers.
• Experience with surface analytical and characterization techniques.
• Sales, customer-facing, or people management experience.
