Senior Director, Process Support Engineer (Semiconductor)

Location: Hsinchu, Taiwan; onsite customer and equipment support. Relocation is not available.

What you will do

• Engage with customer department heads and directors to identify high-value problems affecting technology milestones and provide technical leadership for DVS solutions across business units.
• Partner with the Account GM on multi-year account strategy and drive adoption of new technologies through demonstrations, onsite evaluations, joint development programs, and tool qualifications.
• Lead process support engineers delivering onsite installation, diagnosis, troubleshooting, service, and repair of complex equipment and systems.
• Develop the technical capabilities of the PSE organization, mentor new managers, and implement training plans.
• Manage demand planning, workforce planning, and financial forecasts for the assigned activity.
• Serve as a technology expert across multiple product lines and business units, with integration expertise across multiple areas.

Requirements

• MS degree in Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, or a related field.
• 15+ years of semiconductor industry experience in customer engineering, field service, process support, or applications.
• Strong background in semiconductor metrology, inspection, or process control technologies.
• 5+ years of experience leading managers and multi-level technical organizations.
• Proven track record supporting strategic semiconductor customers and driving technology adoption.
• Experience managing large technical teams, workforce planning, and business forecasts.
• Strong leadership, communication, and executive stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with advanced semiconductor manufacturing and integration across multiple technology areas.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting TSMC or other leading semiconductor manufacturers.
• Leadership experience at a semiconductor equipment company such as KLA, ASML, Hitachi High-Tech, Nova, or hirify.global.
