Engineering Tech (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

Location: Tainan, Taiwan; onsite cleanroom work. Travel: 10% of the time. Relocation is not available.

What you will do

• Build, repair, and test electrical, electro-mechanical, vacuum, and pneumatic assemblies, subassemblies, and components using work orders, schematics, wiring diagrams, and parts lists.
• Perform electro-mechanical assembly, troubleshooting, repairs, and process improvements.
• Receive and audit parts, verify availability, and inspect components for defects.
• Use test fixtures, electronic measurement equipment, leak detectors, and vacuum pumps to test equipment.
• Complete job documentation, data entry, work expense, and labor records.
• Install software or perform computer programming and serve as an informal resource for junior colleagues.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree.
• 2–4 years of semiconductor or display experience, or comparable industry or military experience.
• Related technical training and certifications.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and follow established operating procedures or scientific methods.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work involving extended standing, walking, bending, kneeling, climbing, lifting, hand and power tools, and heavy machinery operation.
• Ability to work in a cleanroom and use required personal protective equipment.

• ASSET or BSEET qualification, including DeVry or TSTC programs.
