Mechanical Engineer (Display Equipment)

What you will do

• Identify and troubleshoot difficult mechanical problems with limited supervision.
• Define, coordinate, perform, and document engineering tests and reports.
• Develop and modify mechanical layouts, schematics, detailed drawings, specifications, and engineering documentation.
• Perform mechanical engineering analysis and implement solutions for complex product issues.
• Lead or execute engineering projects, develop key suppliers, and generate mechanical product specifications.
• Design and implement custom tooling, fixturing, and processes for handling, assembly, and disassembly across the product life cycle while overseeing manufacturing and installation.

Requirements

• 2026 graduating student or recent graduate; no prior industry experience is required.
• Strong foundation in physics, mathematics, and materials science.
• Ability to solve mechanical problems, conduct engineering analysis, create technical drawings, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
• Ability to work on difficult-scope engineering tasks with limited supervision.

Nice to have

• Experience with 3D/2D design tools such as Inventor or AutoCAD.
• Vacuum or chamber design experience.
