Mechanical Engineer (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve difficult mechanical problems with limited supervision.
• Design and modify mechanical layouts, schematics, detailed drawings, specifications, tooling, fixtures, and chamber systems.
• Perform engineering analyses, define and document engineering tests, and prepare test reports.
• Lead or execute engineering projects, including supplier development and generation of mechanical product specifications.
• Coordinate the procurement, manufacturing, assembly, and installation of mechanical components and equipment.
• Establish operational standards and implement mechanical solutions for complex product issues.

Requirements

• New college graduate or recent graduate eligible for the 2026 graduate program; no prior industry experience is required.
• Strong foundation in physics, mathematics, and materials science.
• Ability to analyze mechanical engineering problems and create technical drawings and documentation.
• Ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and coordinate engineering suppliers and manufacturing activities.
• Position is based in Tainan, Taiwan; relocation is not eligible.

Nice to have

• Experience with 2D/3D design tools such as Inventor or AutoCAD.
• Vacuum or chamber design experience.
