Principal Product Engineer (Semiconductor)

Location: Taiwan - Development Center (Hsinchu). Travel: 0%–25%.

What you will do

• Drive product support and supply chain improvements for the Networking and Connectivity Solutions Business Unit.
• Interface with internal teams and external suppliers to resolve technical manufacturing issues involving fabrication, packaging, and testing, as well as non-technical supply chain and system issues.
• Lead foundry and assembly migrations and qualifications.
• Represent the Business Unit in Asia by providing real-time support and guidance to teams in the regional time zone.
• Address customer shortages and drive tactical and strategic supply chain improvements.
• Manage customer changes, including PCNs, PPAPs, and qualification data, while improving product quality, cost, and delivery for existing products.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field and 10+ years of relevant experience, including experience driving initiatives.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with close attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate across all levels, from individual contributors to Directors, and with planning, customer support, R&D Engineering, Corporate Packaging, Foundry Management, and other functions.
• Flexibility to communicate across different time zones as needed.
• Knowledge of semiconductor packaging technology.
• Good understanding of semiconductor manufacturing flow.
• Technical supply chain management experience is desired.
