Field Service Engineer (Electromechanical Systems)

Location: Primarily based in Hebron, Ohio, United States; onsite role with 25% travel and up to six weeks of out-of-state training.

Salary: $25–$38 USD per hour for candidates in the United States.

What you will do

• Support installation activities by providing site-specific information, contacts, and customer guidance.
• Deliver pre-sales, post-sales, and service delivery software support for diverse customer needs.
• Provide onsite break-fix support, technical assistance to service providers, and escalation support.
• Use proactive monitoring and diagnostic tools to prevent issues and improve customer experience.
• Resolve complex technical problems and recommend effective service and process improvements.
• Coordinate departmental work, mentor colleagues, monitor execution, and support cross-functional collaboration.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, higher secondary education, equivalent work experience, or demonstrated competence.
• Typically 6–8 years of related experience in customer support, onsite technical support, systems, account management, or a related field.
• Knowledge of electromechanical systems, automation systems, electronics and electrical fundamentals, hand and power tools, and test and diagnostic equipment.
• Experience with Windows Server, Red Hat Linux, or relevant operating systems.
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance, field service management, technical services delivery, safety standards, KPIs, and process improvement.
• Ability to work onsite in the United States and travel approximately 25%, including out-of-state training.
