Field Service Engineer (Spectroscopy)

Location: US-MD-Remote; primary territory coverage in Maryland, Washington, DC, and Virginia. The role includes on-site customer visits, daily, overnight, and weekend travel as needed, and travel of up to 25%.

Salary: $34.00–$53.13 per hour, plus eligibility for bonus, stock, and benefits.

What you will do

• Install and optimize hardware, software, network products, and configurations at customer sites.
• Diagnose and resolve product performance issues across company and multi-vendor systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and proactive equipment troubleshooting.
• Deliver integrated solutions involving peripherals, communications, operating systems, and application software.
• Advise customers on maintenance and configurations that affect product performance and satisfaction.
• Train field engineers and customers on supported solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a science field such as chemistry, analytical chemistry, biochemistry, or biotechnology, or equivalent experience.
• At least two years of experience in a similar position or as an end user.
• Clear, respectful, and timely verbal and written communication.
• Active, valid driver's license and personal transportation unless a company vehicle is provided.
• Residence within the assigned territory and ability to travel up to 25% are required.
• Consent to hirify.global-approved customer and vendor credentialing requirements is required for access to customer sites.

• Experience troubleshooting hirify.global Atomic Spectroscopy and Molecular Spectroscopy products.
• Experience with hirify.global solutions.
• Residence near the Metro DC or Northern Virginia area.
