Field Service Engineer Spectroscopy

Location: US-MD-Remote Location; must reside within the multistate territory covering Maryland, Washington, DC, and Virginia. The role includes on-site customer visits and up to 25% daily, overnight, and weekend travel.

Salary: $34.00–$53.13 per hour, plus eligibility for bonus, stock, and benefits.

What you will do

• Install and optimize hardware, software, networking products, and configurations at customer sites.
• Diagnose and resolve performance problems across company and multi-vendor systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and proactive equipment issue resolution.
• Deliver integrated solutions involving peripherals, communications, operating systems, and application software.
• Advise customers on configurations and preventive maintenance to support system performance.
• Train field engineers and customers on implemented solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a science field such as chemistry, analytical chemistry, biochemistry, or biotechnology, or equivalent experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar position or as an end user.
• Clear, respectful, and timely verbal and written communication.
• Active, valid driver’s license and personal transportation unless a company vehicle is provided.
• Residence within the MD, DC, and VA territory and ability to travel up to 25% are required.
• Consent to hirify.global-approved customer and vendor credentialing requirements is required for access to customer sites.

• Experience troubleshooting hirify.global Atomic Spectroscopy and Molecular Spectroscopy products.
• Experience with hirify.global solutions.
• Interest in traveling and visiting customers.
