Sr. Software Implementation Configuration Lead (SaaS)

Location: Remote within the United States; listed locations include California, Boston, Massachusetts, and Chicago, Illinois.

Salary: $95,000–$110,000 annual base salary, plus potential discretionary annual bonus.

What you will do

• Lead implementation and configuration of enterprise SaaS solutions supporting demand-side management, transportation electrification, and other clean energy programs.
• Partner with clients to gather requirements, facilitate workshops, validate solutions, and guide implementation decisions.
• Configure workflows, business rules, forms, user interfaces, reports, and client-specific functionality using low-code or medium-code tools, HTML/CSS, and JavaScript.
• Design and implement system integrations, REST APIs, ETL processes, data mapping, authentication, and reporting requirements.
• Plan and execute configuration, system testing, UAT, deployments, production releases, troubleshooting, and post-launch support.
• Mentor implementation consultants and provide technical leadership while collaborating with Product Management, Development, QA, and Software Project Management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Engineering, Business Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent education and experience.
• 5–7+ years of experience implementing, configuring, or supporting enterprise SaaS, low-code, CRM, ERP, or workflow automation platforms in client-facing consulting or implementation roles.
• Hands-on experience with SaaS application configuration, workflows, business rules, forms, user interfaces, reports, dashboards, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and business process automation.
• Experience with system integrations, REST APIs, ETL/data mapping, authentication, system testing, UAT, deployments, and post-production support.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, including the ability to translate business requirements into scalable software solutions.
