Engineer II-Layout (PCB Design)

What you will do

• Optimize mixed-signal PCB designs for signal integrity, manufacturability, and reliability.
• Design and lay out high-density, multilayer PCBs using industry-standard CAD tools.
• Perform signal-integrity analysis and simulations to identify and mitigate design issues.
• Collaborate with design engineers, process engineers, and other stakeholders on PCB optimization.
• Conduct design reviews and ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
• Maintain Gerber files, CAD files, bills of materials, and assembly documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, electronics technology, or a related field.
• 2.5–5 years of experience in signal integrity and/or PCB design.
• Proficiency with Xpedition, Altium Designer, or Cadence Allegro.
• Experience designing multilayer high-speed digital, analog, and mixed-signal circuits.
• Knowledge of multilayer ground planes, noise immunity, signal isolation, and IPC standards.
• Must provide proof of U.S. citizenship, permanent U.S. residency, or protected-individual status under U.S. export-control requirements.

Nice to have

• Experience with Ansys HFSS, Thermal, or Structural simulation software.
• RF design and analysis experience.
• 3D CAD modeling for PCB integration into mechanical enclosures.
• Knowledge of EMC/EMI practices, flexible and rigid-flex PCB design, and PCB manufacturing processes.
• Understanding of DFM guidelines and the electrical, thermal, and environmental properties of PCB materials.
