Specialist, Design (PCB Design)

Salary: $69,500–$128,500 per year

What you will do

• Design printed circuit boards using Siemens Xpedition CAD software.
• Produce and release layout files, fabrication drawings, and assembly drawings.
• Interpret electrical schematics and mechanical CAD data to create PCB layouts according to customer requirements.
• Collaborate with ECAD designers, internal engineering customers, and mechanical design engineers.
• Verify mechanical accuracy and ensure compliance with IPC Class 3 standards and established design and fabrication guidelines.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with at least 4 years of relevant experience, or a graduate degree with at least 2 years of related experience.
• Alternatively, at least 8 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
• Experience creating PCB layouts with ECAD tools.
• Experience with PCB design technologies for military, airborne, and space applications.
• Knowledge of PCB layout techniques and electrical schematics.
• Some positions may require a security clearance, which can only be granted to U.S. citizens.

• BluePrint experience.
• Knowledge of Cadence Allegro, Altium, or PADS software.
