People & Culture Compliance Analyst (HR Compliance): Supporting pay transparency and pay equity reporting, global mobility compliance, background screening, and legal entity management across multiple jurisdictions with an accent on regulatory tracking, workforce data validation, and audit-ready records. Focus on coordinating filings and mobility workflows, interpreting changing employment requirements, and identifying compliance risks across global People Operations.

Location: Remote in the United States or Canada, excluding North Dakota, Vermont, and Rhode Island. The posting also lists US Citizenship as a condition.

Salary: $79,000–$124,000 annually. For specific work locations in San Jose, the San Francisco Bay Area, and the New York City metropolitan area: $97,500–$146,500 annually.

What you will do

  • Monitor global pay transparency, pay equity, and gender pay gap reporting requirements; maintain compliance calendars and coordinate filings.
  • Collect, validate, and prepare workforce and compensation data with Total Rewards, HR Technology, Finance, and Legal.
  • Track global mobility cases, international assignments, business travel, visas, work authorizations, tax requirements, and filing deadlines.
  • Administer background screening workflows, vendors, consent processes, adjudication, audits, and adverse action procedures.
  • Coordinate legal entity and employer-of-record compliance, including registrations, statutory filings, benefits, and works council obligations.
  • Support audits, regulatory briefings, compliance reporting, process improvement, and senior leadership materials.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Law, Business Administration, Public Policy, or a related field.
  • 3–6+ years of experience in HR compliance, People Operations, employment law support, or a related field.
  • Direct experience with at least two relevant compliance domains and familiarity with pay transparency or pay equity reporting in at least one jurisdiction.
  • Experience supporting compliance activities across multiple countries or jurisdictions.
  • Strong data validation, reconciliation, reporting, regulatory research, documentation, and deadline-management skills.
  • Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills and familiarity with HRIS platforms such as Workday.

Nice to have

  • SHRM-CP, PHR, CIPP, or equivalent professional certification.
  • Experience with emerging global pay reporting requirements and compliance program administration.
