Salary: $21.00–$25.00 per hour, depending on geographic location, experience, and skill level.

What you will do

• Support a primary care physician and deliver a high-quality patient experience.
• Room patients, clean and stock examination rooms, review medical information, and collect updated health data.
• Take vital signs, perform blood draws, administer medications and immunizations, bandage wounds, and assist with procedures.
• Coordinate scheduling, check-in and check-out, medical record requests, referrals, specialist visits, and external care.
• Document patient information accurately, process test results, and communicate results as directed by the provider.
• Participate in patient outreach and help identify and address gaps in care.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant, preferably in primary care.
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant or related program.
• National or state-specific Medical Assistant certification or registration is strongly preferred and required where mandated by the state.
• CPR/BLS certification is required by the start date.
• Phlebotomy experience is preferred.
