Senior Software/Firmware Developer (Embedded C/C++)

What you will do

• Design and develop firmware for Android- and Linux-based video conferencing devices.
• Build platform capabilities below the framework layer using secure, scalable, high-performance embedded C/C++ applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define architecture, standards, and development best practices.
• Troubleshoot complex system-level issues in embedded environments.
• Contribute to project planning, documentation, testing strategies, and continuous improvement in an agile environment.
• Mentor junior engineers and share technical expertise across the team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of experience in embedded software development.
• Proficiency in embedded C/C++ and experience with firmware development and debugging.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Understanding of Android internals and Linux.
• Successful candidates must pass a basic standard criminal records check and sign confidentiality, non-solicitation, and conflict-of-interest agreements.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of networking, security, USB, video encoding and decoding including H.264, H.265, and SVC, HDMI, or Bluetooth.
