Medical Assistant - Las Vegas, NV

Location: NV-Henderson, United States; onsite clinic-based role

Pay range: $21.00–$25.00 per hour, depending on geographic location, experience, and skill level.

What you will do

• Escort patients, prepare examination rooms, and maintain clinical supplies and equipment.
• Review medical information, gather updated patient data, and record accurate documentation.
• Take vital signs, perform blood draws, administer injections, medications, and immunizations, and assist with procedures.
• Coordinate patient scheduling, check-in and check-out, medical records, specialist visits, referrals, and external care.
• Process test results and communicate them to patients through approved channels.
• Support patient outreach and collaborate with the care team to identify and address gaps in care.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant, preferably in primary care.
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant or related program.
• National or state-specific Medical Assistant certification or registration is preferred and required in states where certification or registration is mandated.
• CPR/BLS certification is required by the start date.

Nice to have

• Phlebotomy experience.
