Senior Proposal Manager (AI)

Location: On-site in San Diego, California, or Washington, DC, United States

Salary: $86,000–$128,000 per year, plus bonus, benefits, and equity for regular employees

What you will do

• Lead and manage software proposals, purchase agreements, cost submissions, and requests for information for domestic and international customers.
• Own proposal efforts from kickoff through stakeholder collaboration, leadership reviews, and submission.
• Develop strategies and technical content for compliant, high-quality, and compelling proposals, abstracts, and quad charts.
• Create compliance matrices and maintain strict configuration management of proposal documentation.
• Coordinate technical, management, pricing, and past-performance sections with business development, marketing, engineering, program, and product management teams.
• Support account executives by driving business development operations that help close deals and grow revenue.

Requirements

• 3–5+ years of proposal management experience with government and international customers.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, engineering, or equivalent industry experience.
• Exposure to proposal methodologies such as Shipley.
• Experience authoring technical content for RFIs, abstracts, and quad charts.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, written, verbal, and cross-functional communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively and effectively with stakeholders at all organizational levels.

Nice to have

• Experience managing commercial proposals and agreements.
• Strong understanding of AI, robotics, software products, and unmanned aircraft systems.
• Knowledge of military operations, DoD acquisition processes, and operational scenarios.
• Eligibility for Secret or higher security clearance.
