Senior Manager, Program Finance (Aerospace/Defense)

What you will do

• Lead financial execution, forecasting, and business partnership across key programs.
• Partner with Program Management, Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Business Development, and executive leadership.
• Improve visibility into program performance and strengthen forecasting and financial reporting cadences.
• Drive estimate-at-completion, risk and opportunity, variance analysis, and program performance processes.
• Build finance processes where needed and develop a team supporting program growth.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field.
• 8+ years of relevant experience in program finance, finance leadership, FP&A, pricing, or aerospace and defense finance.
• Experience supporting defense, aerospace, government contracting, or complex engineering and manufacturing programs.
• Strong knowledge of program financial management, fixed-price contracts, forecasting, EACs, variance analysis, and risk and opportunity tracking.
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills, with the ability to translate operational and technical inputs into financial recommendations.
• Experience presenting to senior leadership and leading, mentoring, or developing finance team members.

Nice to have

• MBA, CPA, or an advanced related degree.
• 10+ years of experience in defense, aerospace, or government contracting finance.
• Experience with pricing, proposals, BOEs, new business capture, manufacturing, supply chain, or production finance.
• Familiarity with Costpoint, SAP, Oracle, Power BI, or similar ERP, planning, and reporting tools.
• Knowledge of FAR/DFARS, earned value concepts, cost accounting principles, or security clearance requirements.
