Expected salary: $48,200–$83,200 per year.

What you will do

  • Perform a variety of wet chemical and inorganic analyses, including titrations.
  • Prepare analytical standard solutions and sample solutions.
  • Independently operate laboratory instruments such as UV/Vis, ICP-OES, ion chromatography, HPLC, GC-MS, and GC-FID.
  • Perform basic maintenance of analytical instruments and manage chemical and consumable ordering.
  • Dispose of chemical waste and follow laboratory safety, environmental, health, and security requirements.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree in a related field.
  • At least two years of relevant experience and prior general laboratory experience.
  • U.S. citizenship required.
  • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a SECRET-level U.S. Government security clearance.
  • Fluent English, written and verbal, required.
  • Ability to handle hazardous chemicals safely, follow analytical procedures, perform basic calculations, and comply with laboratory safety procedures.

Nice to have

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related discipline.
  • Equivalent military training or experience.
  • Additional laboratory experience.
