Salary: $106,600–$142,100 per year

What you will do

  • Develop, optimize, and sustain advanced wafer manufacturing processes for high-volume semiconductor production.
  • Work with electroplating, wet etch, liftoff, and lithography processes.
  • Analyze manufacturing data, identify trends, and solve complex technical problems.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing engineers, technicians, equipment specialists, and cross-functional partners.
  • Support process improvement and technical development in semiconductor wafer fabrication.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry, or a related technical discipline.
  • Experience in semiconductor manufacturing, microfabrication, research laboratories, or another technology-focused environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to interpret data and identify trends.
  • Experience with data analysis tools such as JMP, Python, SQL, Minitab, SAS, MATLAB, or similar platforms.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Initiative, curiosity, learning agility, and ownership of assigned projects.

Nice to have

  • Internship, co-op, research, or manufacturing experience in semiconductor processing or wafer fabrication.
  • Familiarity with cleanroom environments and semiconductor manufacturing practices.
  • Knowledge of wet chemical etch, photoresist strip, liftoff, eco-snow, electroplating, and micro/nanofabrication.
  • Exposure to photolithography, including coating, exposure, development, overlay, and critical dimension control.
  • Knowledge of Design of Experiments, Statistical Process Control, and Advanced Process Control.
