EOI – Fund Accounting & Fund Administration Opportunities

Location: Hybrid work model in Sydney, 255 George St, Australia

What you will do

• Deliver timely and accurate fund accounting and client reporting in accordance with service-level agreements.
• Prepare, review, and oversee NAV calculations, investor reporting, and financial reporting packages.
• Prepare and review annual and semi-annual financial statements under IFRS, US GAAP, Lux GAAP, and other applicable standards.
• Manage communication with clients, auditors, custodians, and internal stakeholders.
• Support fund launches, onboarding, restructures, conversions, projects, and process improvement initiatives.
• Investigate accounting and operational issues, maintain controls and governance, and provide mentoring or team management at higher levels.

Requirements

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience in fund accounting, fund administration, financial reporting, investment operations, or related financial services.
• Exposure to hedge funds, private equity, private credit, real estate, mutual funds, ETFs, or other alternative investments.
• Understanding of accounting principles, fund structures, and investment products.
• Experience preparing, reviewing, or overseeing financial statements, NAV calculations, and investor reporting.
• Strong organisation, attention to detail, communication, prioritisation, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• Leadership, coaching, and people management experience for Associate Manager and Manager-level opportunities.
• CA, CPA, CFA, or an equivalent professional qualification.
