Senior Technician-Equipment (Implant)

Location: Fab 4 facility in Gresham, Oregon, United States; onsite front-night compressed work week shift: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and every other Saturday, 6:15 PM–6:30 AM

What you will do

• Maintain and repair ion implantation semiconductor systems.
• Troubleshoot electronic, electrical, and mechanical equipment problems.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and equipment calibration.
• Read mechanical prints and electrical/electronic schematics, and use diagnostic tools and test equipment.
• Disassemble, adjust, and repair equipment according to maintenance specifications and OEM manuals.
• Document maintenance work and communicate technical information clearly.

Requirements

• AA degree in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering Technology, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent semiconductor industry experience.
• 7+ years of experience maintaining ion implantation equipment.
• Experience with Varian VIISion 80, E220/500, VIISta HC, VIISta 810, and Axcelis GSD200/GSD-HE tool types.
• Electronic and mechanical aptitude, basic IT and MS Office skills, and strong documentation and communication skills.
• Ability to work reliably in a team with minimal supervision.
• Must participate in the Fab 4 Emergency Response Team and pass the required physical, fit test, and medical clearance for a tight-fitting SCBA full-face respirator.
