Senior Equipment Technician - Photolithography (Semiconductor)

Location: Essex Junction, United States; onsite at the Fab 9 semiconductor manufacturing facility.

Salary: $48,200–$83,200 per year, determined based on qualifications, experience, and location.

What you will do

• Monitor, sustain, and improve photolithography equipment and processes.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance according to operating procedures.
• Monitor, control, and test semiconductor equipment for manufacturing readiness.
• Recover equipment from process interruptions and document events.
• Communicate equipment status and end-of-shift handoffs to lead technicians and engineers.
• Work with production teams and area engineers in a fast-paced cleanroom environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Electrical or mechanical background through a technical degree and relevant experience, military experience and relevant experience, or six years of relevant experience.
• English fluency in written and verbal communication.
• Basic reading, writing, computer navigation, Windows, Microsoft Office, and Outlook skills.
• Ability to work onsite in a cleanroom for extended periods, including 12-hour shifts and required PPE.
• Ability to lift, carry, manipulate tools, climb, bend, kneel, and remain standing or walking for most of the shift.

Nice to have

• Experience in semiconductor manufacturing, preferably six or more years of direct experience.
• Ability to review SPC charts and respond to out-of-control conditions and defects.
• Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and electrical diagrams.
• Experience with hand tools, structured troubleshooting, and problem-solving.
• Understanding of electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems.
