Site Network Engineer

Salary: $83,000–$120,800 USD annually, with additional bonus and/or equity opportunities for candidates in the United States.

What you will do

• Design portions of LAN/WAN, routing, switching, wireless, and network security solutions.
• Develop and execute test and validation plans for connectivity, performance, reliability, redundancy, latency, throughirify.globalut, failover, and security compliance.
• Implement network changes, configurations, and remediation actions while maintaining change records and technical documentation.
• Troubleshoot network issues, identify root causes, and communicate resolution updates and recommendations.
• Collaborate with internal teams, external vendors, and cross-functional project teams on network design, deployment, optimization, and knowledge transfer.
• Analyze operational data and network performance to produce reports, technical documentation, and improvement recommendations.

Requirements

• Four-year or graduate degree in Computer Engineering, Network Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Typically 2–4 years of experience in network engineering, network administration, or infrastructure operations.
• Knowledge of network architecture, routing and switching, including BGP, OSPF, and VLANs.
• Knowledge of firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, TCP/IP, wireless networking, DNS, DHCP, and IP address management.
• Experience with network monitoring, troubleshooting, performance analysis, systems integration, and data center networking.
• Knowledge of Python or scripting, cloud networking such as Azure or AWS, Infrastructure as Code fundamentals, Wireshark, and ITIL is relevant to the role.

Nice to have

• CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent networking certification.
