Strategy & Program Office Leader, Applied Market Group (AMG)

Location: Santa Clara, California, United States; remote work considered with travel

Salary: $197,360–$370,050 per year, plus eligibility for bonus, stock, and benefits.

What you will do

• Lead the annual strategic planning process for the Applied Markets Group and align division-level plans with enterprise strategy.
• Develop, prioritize, and manage the strategic project portfolio based on business impact, resources, and strategic importance.
• Monitor portfolio performance and provide recommendations for optimization.
• Drive operational excellence, continuous improvement, innovation, and process standardization across the group.
• Serve as Chief of Staff to the AMG Group President by coordinating initiatives, preparing executive materials, and facilitating communication with senior leaders.
• Lead and mentor direct reports and cross-functional teams while developing training programs and team capabilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field; an MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in strategy development, strategic project portfolio management, program or project management, and/or strategic pricing.
• 10+ years of increasing managerial experience with demonstrated team leadership.
• Experience supporting senior leadership and managing strategic initiatives and special projects.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, communication, collaboration, financial, and project management skills.
• Santa Clara-based candidates are preferred for commuting; remote work is considered with occasional travel.

Nice to have

• MBA or another advanced degree.
• Experience working across business divisions and enterprise PMO organizations.
